The Speaker of Ghana's Parliament has announced a 3-week recess period for parliamentarians.

This follows the confirmation of more COVID-19 cases in the House.

So far, at least 17 Members of Parliament and over 150 staff have tested positive for the virus. The country’s case count currently stands at 6,938 with 482 deaths.
