Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, former Presidents, Members of the Diplomatic Corps and other dignitaries are expected to file past the remains of Ghana’s longest serving President Flt Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings today.
This is part of a four-day state funeral in honor of the fallen statesman.
Former President Rawlings passed away in November 2020 after a short illness.
Ahead of today’s viewing by the country’s leaders, other heads of state and their representatives, on Monday visited the Accra International Conference center to pay their final respects to Rawlings.
