The Gambia Health Ministry has received 20 of 80 ambulances to be used for community ambulance services.
The purchase of the ambulances is part of the health ministry’s drive to provide easy mobility and reduce maternal mortality.
President Adama Barrow during the handing over ceremony said the ambulances will deliver new standard in the country’s health care sector.
