The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Nigeria on Monday arrested three suspects with a truckload of illegal drugs in Edo State, South-South of Nigeria.
State Commander of the agency, Buba Wakawa, made the disclosure in Benin, the State Capital, during a media briefing, noting that the seizure was one of the biggest made on psychotropic substances in the history of the command.
He stressed the agency’s concern about the effect of the substances on the health of their consumers and appealed to the media to join in the campaign against drug abuse.
