Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health has launched a nationwide vaccination campaign against Mpox, targeting frontline healthcare workers and high-risk individuals.

The campaign, which began on Wednesday, follows the arrival of 61,300 vaccine doses from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Social mobilization coordinator Amanda Clemens stated that children aged 12 and above are also included in the immunization drive.
