A major discussion in Mali is the alleged release of fighters of a terrorist network in exchange for Malian hostages by the transitional authority.
This curiosity among the population Tuesday prompted a press conference by the Public Relations Unit of the Malian army in Bamako to reject the information as reported by the French media rfi.
The head of the unit, Colonel Souleymance Dembele denied any such claim that the government released prisoners of the Islamic State group in the Greater Sahara (EIGS).
