Lawmakers in Liberia are today, Monday, January 16, convening their final sitting for the 54th Legislature as the country prepares for the October 2023 general elections.
It is also expected that this year’s draft National Budget currently at the National Assembly for scrutiny will be passed ahead of President George Weah’s state of the nation address later in the day.
