In Liberia, the Executive Protective Service (EPS) denies media reports linking some of its agents to an alleged plot to disrupt the inauguration of President-elect Joseph Boakai in January 2024.

The EPS is an elite security service of the government tasked with safeguarding the President, Vice President, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, members of the First Family, and other individuals designated by the President.
