The Gambia's information ministry says the deployment of ECOWAS Forces near the Gambia-Senegal is not a strategy to aid and abet anyone amid the war in the Senegalese Southern region of Cassmance.

To that effect, the defense minister says the government will not compromise the peace and security of the country.

The ex-soldier assured Gambians of highest security as the war between Senegalese forces and MFD Rebels heightens.
