Experts have called on ECOWAS member states be proactive towards the creation of a functional ECOWAS common market.

Speaking during the 2022 International conference of the ECOWAS Court, the integration authorities asked that governments show more commitment to their Community obligations to dismantle national obstacles militating against the common market.
