Togo’s parliament convened on April 1 for the first ordinary session of 2025, with 87 out of 113 elected representatives in attendance.

The session, led by National Assembly President Kodjo Sévon Tépé Adédzé, marks the start of legislative activities for the year.

Lawmakers are expected to discuss key national issues and policy directions in the coming weeks.
