Cameroon deploys army along Nigeria border

The Cameroonian government has deployed at least one hundred troops to a border town with Nigeria following violent clashes.

The said conflict between the Cameroonian separatists and Nigerian herders resulted in twelve people killed.

The refusal by cattle herders to pay taxes demanded by the rebels according to authorities caused the fighting six days ago after they crossed the shared border in search of food.
