Nigerien President Muhammed Bazoum wraps up his 48-hour working visit to Benin, committed to improving security and up the fight against insurgency.

Niger is admitted as an observer member along with Nigeria.
To this end, the Nigerien leader announced the deployment of troops to the borders with Benin – a laudable move that may come at a price.
