Families in Liberia gathered at cemeteries on National Decoration Day to honor their departed loved ones.

The annual observance, held every second Wednesday in March, is meant for remembrance and reflection.

However, many cemeteries are in a state of neglect and desecration, leaving families frustrated and heartbroken.
