The United Nations is calling on world leaders to choose the path to unity over division.
The global organization made this call, in commemoration of the zero-discrimination day celebrated on March 1 each year.
However, this year’s event comes at a time when the world’s population is fighting the covid19 pandemic with the weak and vulnerable group lack access to healthcare, and other basic necessities.
according to the UN millions of Women and young girls and people in crisis affected areas suffer from neglect due to the pandemic –Hence, the need to uphold the dignity of each individual, and to advocate and legislate for a more equal, just, and safer world for all.
