Experts in Nigeria are seeking global support in taming the tide of the rising cases of Hepatitis cases in the country.
According to the World Health Organization, Nigeria has one of the highest burdens of viral hepatitis with a national hepatitis B (HBV) prevalence rate of 8.1 percent, and a hepatitis C (HCV) prevalence rate of 1.1 per cent among adults aged 15-64 years.
