Our Woman of The Day is Rebecca Naa Dedei Aryeetey, also known as Dedei Ashiki-shan. She was the backbone of Ghana’s first president Kwame Nkrumah and his CPP in the early stages of the independence struggle.
Naa Dedei Aryeetey was a Ghanaian businesswoman, popularly known for her flour business in Accra, a political activist, and a feminist.
