The alliance of armed groups in northern Mali— which includes the Coordination of Azawad Movements, CMA, a coalition of separatist groups dominated by ethnic Tuaregs — want to claim the Kidal bases as the UN Peacekeepers hurry to exit the country.

Our guests for this discussion are Mr. Ibrahima Kane – an African Union governance expert and Mr. Morgan Assogba – A consultant in International Affairs based in Cotonou, Benin.
Also, Liberia remains very much in the news as the country is set to hold a second round of elections on the 14th of November.
The battle is now between ruling CDC candidate President George Weah and opposition Unity Party’s Joseph Boakai.
While the campaigns have commenced, issues surrounding campaign financing, invalidated votes and perhaps cross-carpeting have dominated discourse across Liberia.
Our guest for this discussion is:
i. Adama Dempster, National Secretary General, National Civil Society Human Rights Advocacy Platform of Liberia
ii. Harold Addo, Executive Integrity Watch Liberia
iii. James Koryor, National Coordinator at Liberia CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition
