The state –run University of Liberia has suspended classes for undergraduate programs in response to the violent disturbances on its Capitol Hill Campus on Monday.
The violence resulted in serious bodily injuries to individuals as well as destruction to university properties.
The university condemns the violence and says an investigation into the incident has been launched and any student found in violation of the Revised UL Student Handbook would be penalized.
