The United Nations Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in Mali MINUSMA says it is ready to launch talks with the military government.

MINUSMA’s declaration came hours after the Coup state through the ministry of foreign affairs announced the suspension of the UN peacekeeping force rotations in the country.

The ministry said the suspension of all rotations of military and police contingents of the Mission, including those already scheduled or announced was due to reasons of national security.
