In Mali, the head of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali – MINUSMA has held preliminary meetings with the transitional authorities.
El Ghasim Wane met with Prime Minister Moctar Ouane and Vice President Assimi Goita.
As part of discussions, there were talks about the upcoming elections and how the UN mission intends to support the process as announced by the transitional government weeks ago.
