Ghana has been included in a list of 54 countries the UK government has identified as not to be actively targeted for recruitment by health and social care employers.
This announcement comes as the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) reports that more than 3,000 nurses and midwives have already left the country in search of better opportunities due to poor conditions of service and unfair salary scales.
