As the race to the white house closes in the 2020 elections, the democrats are speeding up close to 270 mark as the republican is with a relative margin – behind.
While Joe bidden remain quite on his lead in the polls, President Donald Trump on Wednesday claimed he had won the US election. This is despite the completion of votes and final announcement of results by the electoral colleges.
The Republican, who according to initial results is in a neck-and-neck race with Democrat Joe Biden, said he would go to court, saying he wants all voting to stop.
Trump appeared to mean stopping the counting of mail-in ballots which can be legally accepted by state election boards after Tuesday’s election provided, they were sent in time.
However, the supreme court over ruled his claim/demand.
Professor Samba Gadjigo – A Senegalese political scientist based in the US, said many Americans and African – Americans have their fingers crossed pending the outcome of the results.
