The Togolese capital, Lome is hosting a regional meeting on reproductive health and family planning.
For three days, civil society organizations from 9 countries will take stock of the contribution of religious leaders to achieving the organization’s objectives.
Participants at the conference organized by the Ouagadougou Partnership, will aim to improve reproductive health which often faces both cultural and religious obstacles, which explains the front-line involvement of religious and traditional leaders.
Launched in February 2011, the Ouagadougou Partnership works for easy access to quality family planning to improve the lives of women and young people in French-speaking Africa.
