The Togolese capital Lome plays host to the parties involved in the Sudan conflict as part of efforts to resolve the nearly four-month-old bloodshed.
The two-day mediation meeting being chaired by the foreign affairs ministry and Regional Integration began Sunday afternoon.
As Oge Obierika tells us, Togolese President, Faure Gnassingbé, had authorized the meeting believing in Togo’s influence in Africa and its long tradition of mediation.
