The Togolese Electoral Commission has announced its readiness to hold the legislative and regional elections slated for April 13th, 2024 across the country.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) confirmed its preparation after it took delivery of boxes containing bottles of indelible ink and other voting materials.
The indelible ink is supplied by NETCOM SA, the company that had previously won the tender based on the quality of the ink specimen that had been proposed.
According to the CENI, researchers from the Chemistry Laboratory of the University of Lomé took samples of the vials chosen at random from several boxes for tests.
The CENI has similarly launched a call for the submission of applications from February 19 – 28, 2024.
