Workers in Togo’s informal sector will soon be able to benefit from the old-age guarantee without any social guarantee.
The government decided to expand this guarantee to informal workers based on latest data from the International Labor Organization (ILO) which shows that more than three million people – 52% of them being women, work in the informal sector in Togo.
