Togo’s government plans to allocate 429.5 billion FCFA to deal with new security contingencies, in connection with the rise in terrorist threats.
According to the government, the money will be disbursed over the next three years and should contribute to increasing the number of army personnel from 17,773 men at the end of 2020 to 22,020 by 2025.
