The Gambia is set to host the International Surgical and Scientific Conference at the end of May 2023.

The event being organized by the country’s primary referral Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital and the First Lady Fatou Bah Barrow Foundation will bring together scientists and surgical experts worldwide.

In addition to presentations on the latest surgical techniques, patients with complicated health problems will be provided free surgical operations.

Speaking to local radio in Banjul, the Chief Medical Director of the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital Doctor Ammar Al Jafari explained more about the conference
