The ring leader of the December 2022 failed coup attempt in The Gambia, Sanna Fadera was served a 12-year jail term by the country’s High Court for treason on Tuesday.
The court also acquitted and discharged three others for treason and concealment.
The ruling came on Tuesday after a 10-month trial.
