A court in The Gambia  has issued an arrest warrant for an alleged member of a hit squad under former President Yahya Jammeh.

The Banjul Magistrate Court Thursday ordered the arrest of Sanna Manjang, a former member of the Gambia Armed Forces.

Manjang stands accused of rights violations, killings, forced disappearances and torture during Jammeh’s 22 years in power.
