Now, did you know that the Agreement on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) AfCFTA has been signed by 54 countries and ratified by 43 Member States of the African Union (AU)?
It is pertinent to note that the overall mandate of the AfCFTA, which is one of the flagship projects of the AU, is to create a single continental market with a population of about 1.3 billion people and a combined GDP of approximately USD 3.4 trillion.
