The fourth witness in the in the trial of a former Liberian rebel leader arrested in Switzerland for alleged war crimes will give testimony today.

45 year old Alieu Kosiah, a former commander of the United Liberation Movement of Liberia for Democracy rebel group is facing allegations of rape, executions and cannibalism. He denies all charges levelled against him

The trial which started in December 2020 entered its second phase this week with witness testimonies presented to the courts.

Liberian journalist Anthony Stephens, who is covering the proceedings, has been telling my colleague Atiewin Mbillah-Lawson what transpired in court on Wednesday when the third witness appeared and what to expect today.
