The annual Open Sahel Festival unveiled Gambian songstress Sonah Jabarteh as this year’s brand ambassador to champion the course of development through culture. The event which seeks to promote culture through uniting the Sahelian populace is scheduled for February 25th – 27th at Bomba, a bother village between Senegal and Mauritania.
WADR got up-close with the Gambian song goddess, who gave more insight about her role in promoting the tradition and culture of the West African sub region. Sona started by telling us how honored she feels to be the face of this Year’s event.
