Social media campaign “Fix The Country Now” has gained momentum in Ghana.
The campaign is a wakeup call to the government to address the growing social and economic problems facing Ghanaians.
Organizers of the campaign had planned to lead a street protest on May 9 but their request was rejected by the police who cited the risk of spreading Covid19.
This led the organizers to launch the campaign on various digital platforms as they hope the authorities will listen and take serious measures to address the problems facing the country.
Regina Amegah, is Head of Programmes and Projects, Economic Fighters League, one of the conveners of the campaign.
