According to the NGO-Water Aid, 6 out of 10 people in Sierra Leone cannot access water.

Engineers of the city's main water supplier-Guma Valley Water Company have often complained that the swelling number of residents in Freetown has dangerously outstretched their supply capabilities.

The country's Human Rights Commission says inaccessibility to water in the capital city-Freetown threatens key human rights.

Patrick Sallia was at the Human Rights Commission headquarters where a report on access to water was launched.
