Director of Public Debt Management at Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Finance, has said that the country’s cumulative public debt has risen from 71.24% amounting to 26.78 trillion Leones in 2019 to 74.24% amounting to 30.71 trillion Leones which is about three billion dollars in 2020.
Matthew Sandy was speaking at the ministry’s annual national debt sustainability analysis workshop in Freetown.
