Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio has outlined a series of measures that his government has taken to promote education, saying, that human capital development is a priority of his government.
While flagging gender inequality at school and society as a problem undermining the progress of the girl child, President Bio said his government is prioritizing the education of women and girls in Sierra Leone.
The Sierra Leonean leader was speaking Thursday at an Education Summit in London aiming to mobilise five billion dollars to fund education in public schools in about 90 countries of the world.
