Access to potable water is becoming unbearable to many residents of Freetown, despite the country being open to the Atlantic Ocean.

There is however an abundance of it from multiple sources across Sierra Leone, but poorly managed. hence, a huge amount is wasted. 

In Freetown, despite the much spring water in communities, majority of the population largely depends on Guma Valley water as a source for drinking.
