In Sierra Leone, thousands of residents of Susan’s Bay in Freetown – The capital, are struggling to rebuild after last week’s fire ravaged their homes and businesses.

Last Wednesday’s fire in one of the poorest slum communities – east of Freetown, left over 7 thousand homeless and properties worth thousands of dollars destroyed.

While authorities say no death was recorded, 409 people were reported injured.

One week on, Patrick Sallia visited the community to find out how life is for the residents.
