Sierra Leone has confirmed a discovery of some certain liquids and other related items suspected to be the raw materials to produce a new harmful drug called KUSH.

The consignment was said to have been intercepted by the Police and officials from the National Revenue Authority {NRA}. 

According to the police, the items were discovered during a thorough search of some containers at the Quay.  

The Deputy Head of Media Sierra Leone Police Assistant Superintendent Samuel Saio Conteh told WADR's Patrick Sallia in Freetown that some of the individuals arrested so far are helping the Police with the investigations.
