A week-long debate by Sierra Leone Lawmakers is expected to begin on Monday next week on the country’s nine point four {9.4} trillion Leone 2021 budget.

The draft budget which was presented last Friday by Finance Minister – Jacob Jusu Saffa adds a two percent on spending on education, and a twenty-five percent salary increase for officials of the military, police and other state security operatives.

The main opposition, All People’s Congress {APC} party, has reservations on spending in the draft budget some of which are expressed by Honorable Abdul Kargbo in this interview with WADR Correspondent in Freetown – Patrick Sallia.
