Primary and secondary schools across Sierra Leone are currently on recess looking forward to a new academic year starting next month.
In readiness, parents have already started shopping for school materials such as uniforms, shoes, bags and books among other items.
But the prices which usually do not seem to be favorable for most parents have been worsened by Covid 19.
Patrick Sallia has been examining the prices in Freetown ahead of the reopening of schools in September.
