Sierra Leone’s Human Rights Commission has urged government to scrutinize the recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review provided by the UN at the assembly held in Geneva before its adoption into the country’s laws.
According to the Vice Chairperson of the Commission, the recommendations are voluntarily provided by member states, which Sierra Leone is a part of, and must therefore be convenient with the citizens.
