With still 204 active cases in treatment, Sierra Leone has extend by one month a night time curfew re-imposed last month to contain a further spread of the Corona Virus.

The government says the measures including social distancing and the wearing of facemask in public places will remain in place as the risk of the virus spreading to more people remains high.

Less than one million of the country’s seven point eight million population has so far been vaccinated, although, the authorities say more vaccine dosses are expected in the country soon.

Herald Thomas is the Spokesman for Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health.
