Senegal is celebrating the 64th anniversary of its independence today, Thursday, April 4th.

The new President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, made his first address to the nation yesterday evening, reaffirming his agenda for the country.

Diomaye Faye was eagerly awaited by the Senegalese people, who brought him to power and did not fail to reiterate his priorities.
