The 37 survivors of the migrant boat that sunk off the Cape Verdean coast last week, have been repatriated and are now back on Senegalese territory.

The army aircraft that transported the migrants arrived at midday on Monday at the Ouakam airforce base in Dakar.

The survivors were accompanied by the Minister of States for Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, Annette Seck Ndiaye.
