Some public school teachers in Senegal on Monday staged a protest over the detention of some of their colleagues.
According to officials of one of the national associations of teachers, their colleagues were arrested for participating in public demonstrations.
They argue that the arrest violated the rights of the teachers.
An official of one of the associations, El Hadji Malick Youm has been speaking to WADR.
