In Senegal, Prime Minister Ousman Sonko’s legal team has announced plans to appeal his conviction.
The lawyers denounced what they describe as a political and judicial conspiracy surrounding the case.
They are demanding transparency and insist that the truth behind the conviction must be revealed.
The announcement was made during a press conference held in Dakar on Monday.
