The Senegalese government says President Mack Sall will Thursday, receive his shot of the anti-covid19 vaccine at the Banquet hall of the palace of the republic.

This was announced late Wednesday on state media – The Senegalese Television RTS1.

President Sall’s inoculation is in line with the nationwide covid19 vaccination campaign by the ministry of health and social which began on Tuesday this week.

Since the first day of the vaccination exercise, 82 people among the priority targets including frontline health workers have been vaccinated.

Recall Senegal last week received its first batch of 200,000 doses of the Sinopharm anti-covid19 jabs from China.

Health officials in several communities across Dakar and St. Louis yesterday began their vaccination campaign.
